Lake Texoma sits on the border of Texas and Oklahoma. It is easily accessible from the DFW Metroplex or OKC. From DFW Lake Texoma is only a 2-hour drive. Lake Texoma is the perfect weekend getaway to have more hours enjoying the great outdoors and fewer hours driving. From Oklahoma City, Lake Texoma is a 2-hour drive. What you’ll find at Lazie Lane Rental House
The rental house at Lazie Lane has so much to offer. With six bedrooms and four bathrooms, you can have a large gathering with plenty of space. The home has enough beds for 20 people with plenty of room to spare in the huge rooms.
You will love how spacious the eating and living room area is. There is an abundant front and back yard for all the outdoor fun your group will have.
Even though you are in a remote area and away from the hustle of life, you can still stay connected with Wi-fi. Work from the lake and then unplug for a vacation to remember.
If you need even more room, “The Loft at Lazie Lane” is a small one-bedroom home on the same property. You could rent these two homes together to get enough beds for 28 people.
Bedrooms
This home offers six very large bedrooms. You will love that three rooms have King-sized beds! Perfect for three couples. The other three rooms offer multiple beds of various sizes, sleeping up to 20 people! I loved the walk-in closet just off one room that had a dark and quiet space for a baby or young toddler to get a good night’s rest.
With beds to sleep 20, you will not feel crowded at all in this home. Every room has plenty of space to spare. You can even work from the home with desks provided and the Wi-Fi is strong.
Bathrooms
With four full bathrooms, there are plenty of showers and facilities to accommodate everyone in your group. After a long day playing at the lake, everyone can easily clean up quickly in the showers. No need to overpack; towels, washcloths, shampoo, conditioner, and soaps are provided.
Kitchen
The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils, dishes, cups, pans, pots and bowls. Just bring your favorite foods and the rest is provided. Of course, the stove, microwave, and blender are standard in every house Book Texoma rentals provide.
The fridge and freezer are empty and clean, ready for whatever deliciousness you want to fill it with. When you leave home, load up the cooler and enjoy home cooking all week.
Because the rental homes are located in remote Lake Temoxa destinations, groceries and restaurants may be hard to come by. But the home at Lazie Lane is just around the corner from “The Anchor Restaurant’ and a small marina store.
With soap, washcloths and a dishwasher, clean up is quick and easy.
Seating is plentiful along the long table and three seats at the bar.
The home at Lazie Lane offers a gas grill for outdoor cooking. You can also gather around a gas fireplace with abundant seating, So don’t forget your S’mores fixings.
Playing at the Home at Lazie Lane
The game room just off the kitchen provides a quiet space for eating or playing games. This is a sunroom that has been enclosed and has its own heating and cooling element for when you are using the room. There are multiple tables for eating or playing. A small ping pong table, corn hole and giant checkers are included. You can also watch TV in the Game Room.
Since we travel with multiple kids, this was the perfect place for them to have fun and be loud without disturbing others in the home.
Outdoor Fun
Just around the home, you will find plenty of grassy play areas for volleyball, soccer, games and activities. There is plenty of outdoor seating around the gas fireplace and on the front porch.
Only a few blocks from the home, you can find a dirt trail to head toward the lake. This makes for a great running or walking trail. Once at the beach, you will enjoy soft sand, calm waters and quiet moments all to yourself.
Just a few blocks away you will find a marina. Here you can put your own boat or watertoys in. Or rent some water toys for fun on Lake Texoma.

This is a small one-bedroom (but 8 beds!) home right next to the Lazie Lane property. It offers a small kitchen, living room, and upstairs loft area with sleeping for eight! The two bathrooms make a perfect addition to any lake vacation.
